Updating maps on garming c340

If I disconnect the GPS before it finishes, will I be able to use Map Updater to update the map or will I totally screw everything up?

To take the micro SD card out of the SD card adaptor simply hold the SD card between two fingers and, using a thumbnail, slide out the smaller micro SD card from the bottom of the larger card/adaptor.
